Maram is a UNV communication for development officer at UNICEF Egypt. She works to promote measurable behavioral and social change/mobilization and community engagement and participation to support UNICEF’s developmental role. Maram graduated the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, after which she worked for three years in Academia, teaching pharmacology and pharmacotherapy at her faculty. In a not-so-parallel universe, she started a career in creative communication where she worked as a scriptwriter and content creator for NGOs and private businesses in the fields of education and development. She’s currently mixing medicine with communication, pursuing a master’s degree in Public Health and Health Communication, while seizing every opportunity to use her creative abilities in bringing about healthier communities. She enjoys writing, drawing. and introspection more often than she likes to admit.
