Clara Sherwood is a Program Analyst at the U.S. Department of Energy and a foreign affairs specialist with experience across U.S. government agencies, think tanks, and international programs. She previously worked at the U.S. Department of State and is a 2025 CSIS Project on Nuclear Issues Scholar, a former Fulbright Scholar in Morocco, and a two-time recipient of the State Department’s Critical Language Scholarship in Arabic. Clara earned her graduate degree in international affairs from George Washington University and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor’s degree from Washington & Jefferson College. Outside of her professional work, she is a trained multi-genre vocalist and former collegiate lacrosse player.
